I was in a car accident 25 years ago, which took the life of my only brother, and severely damaging areas of my body. After going under for surgeries for almost 17 years straight, I found holistic ways to heal my body, mind and spirit. It was so simple and powerful to use these tools that I got motivated to learn more about them; I decided to get training to become a teacher and holistic practitioner so that I could share these tools with others who are struggling with physical and/or emotional pain. By practicing in their daily life, they too can live a joy-filled life.
So this healing journey inspired me to write my book “Embrace Your Inner Self.” The name itself has a story behind it. At the age of 40 I found my inner child/little Sangita who was sitting in a dark corner, tired of screaming for help and crying because I was not listening to her.
I was not paying attention to what was going on inside me, because I was living my life on autopilot, pleasing others and listening to what others say. That is why I did not feel satisfied inside no matter what I do for others. A time came when I felt like a volcano and the tears burst out. I cried for almost 3 months to release the pain and suffering that was stuffed inside me, and this was just the beginning . I embraced my inner child and asked for her( little Sangita’s) forgiveness. I promised her that from now on we are partners, I started to listen to her with every decision I make. Magic happened and my energy shifted and I felt that my inner healing energy awakened.
This is why I named my book “Embrace Your Inner Self” to awaken your natural ability to heal. Because we are all born healers and once we embrace our inner child/inner self then our lives can change for good.We get connected with our higher self very easily.
